Investigate the paranormal at Shepton Mallet prison

As part of the 'Stories from the Other Side' project led by artist Luminara Florescu, members of the public are invited to attend 3 Free workshops that will introduce you to the history of paranormal happenings at Shepton Mallet Prison, one of the most haunted buildings in the UK.

You will explore this 400 year old building and be guided by Luminara in techniques using digital technology to conduct your own paranormal investigation. The words and images you capture will be used to build a case file and develop a story of a fictional (or maybe real) person connected to the prison, now communicating from the other side.

We will start and end each workshop with a grounding mediation to focus and clear our minds. You do not need to have any previous experience. Just bring yourself, your Smartphone and a sense of curiosity. Workshop dates: Sunday 22nd May 1.00 - 3.00 Sunday 29th May 1.00 - 3.00 Sunday 5th June 1.00 -3.00

This session is run at Shepton Mallet prison and enrolled participants will receive a FREE entry day ticket. Numbers are limited so booking is essential. These workshops are free or subsidised if you are aged over 19, live in Somerset (excluding Bath & North Somerset) and have lived in the UK/EU for the last three years.
