The Fire Service received a call reporting a tractor towing an agricultural trailer with hay bales on fire at the above location.  Three fire engine from Shepton Mallet and Castle Cary attended as well as a water carrier from Bridgwater.
Fire crews requested the attendance of a fourth fire engine from Glastonbury.  This was one tractor well alight and the fire was spreading to nearby hedgerow and a telegraph pole.
Fire crews using compressed air foam systems, two breathing apparatus wearers, two main jets and one hose reel jet to extinguish approximately twenty hay bales.
Update at 15:00 hrs - Fire crews are continuing to extinguish the fire using two main jets and two compressed air foam systems jets and have requested the attendance of the Environment Agency to help determine water run off.
Update at 15:32 hrs - Fire crews are making steady progress and have requested the attendance of British Telecom to deal with the damaged telegraph pole.

Location: Lydford Business Park, Castle Cary Road, Lydford on Fosse

Three crews from Somerton, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet were mobilised to a fire in a commercial garage involving cars. On arrival crews confirmed the fire well alight and requested assistance from a fourth appliance, sent from Street, and a water carrier, sent from Yeovil.
Crews got to work with one hose reel jet and one main jet. The aerial ladder platform was then requested, sent from Yeovil. 
Crews confirmed four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, with the use of compressed air foam, one hose reel jet and one main jet.
At 1416 hrs, crews requested a further four appliances and another water carrier. Appliances were sent from Bridgwater, Yeovil, Shepton Mallet and Frome. The welfare unit from Burnham on Sea, the incident command unit from Honiton and the water carrier from Bridgwater were also sent. An ambulance was requested for two males with potential smoke inhalation on scene.
At 1445 hrs, crews confirmed the use of dry foam, and external firefighting with 3 main jets due to the risk of roof collapse. The incident support unit from Yeovil was requested for breathing apparatus supplement, and bottled water needed.
At 1541 hrs, the fire was being brought under control using compressed air foam, one main jet and the aerial ladder platform. This is a row of three commercial units, all affected by the fire.
