Saturday April 9 saw the return of Shepton Judo club's 'Junior club bash'.

All our junior members from were invited to compete in their age and weight categories. All the kids faught fantasticly well, with some spectacular throws and hold downs. We had a great turn out with generous support from our judo families raising money towards our mat fund by buying raffle tickets and refreshments.

Shepton Judo club is a friendly, hard working and social club with over 150 members, including whole families from 5 to over 60. The club caters to all including national/international competitors to every level of recreational judoko. Shepton Judo club trains weekly at Doulting and West Pennard, it is open to anyone over the age of 5 to come and give it a go.

Complete beginners and returning players are made most welcome. Why not get the kids to give it a go, help build their confidence in a safe fun environment, with some of Britain's finest players.
