Osbert Weston, one of Shepton Judo Club's younger warriors, recently travelled to Coventry to compete in the Midlands Area Regional Schools Championships.

Osbert fought fantastically well in some tough battles to be awarded a silver medal. Dianne White, the club's head coach, said she was very proud of Osbert's achievement.

Shepton Judo club trains weekly at Doulting, West Pennard and Wells, it is open to anyone over the age of five to come and give it a go.
