Two of those involved in the late crash in Dinder were taken to hospital, and thought to be fairly seriously injured, according to the Ambulance Service media service.
One of those involved in the crash at Long Street was taken by land ambulance to hospital, after being treated at the scene, the other was airlifted.

Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) is opening a new shop at Unit 2 Townsend Road on 14th February at 10am.
The shop will be open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday and will stock a wide variety of good quality pre-loved items including, clothes, accessories, collectables, toys and games and books and media.
Four fire crews, including a team from Shepton Mallet were called to a two vehicle high speed collision at Long Street in Dinder late last night (February 5).
At least one person was trapped inside each vehicle and so fire engines from Wells and Shepton Mallet and a Heavy Rescue Tender from Glastonbury were quickly mobilised to the incident location.
Shepton Mallet Town Council wants to hear from lovers of Collett Park, the award-winning Green Flag status park in the heart of town, who are willing to create a Friends' Group.
The park serves many purposes for a wide range of people: from joggers and fitness lovers, dog walkers and duck spotters, to tree and plant enthusiasts, including families and free spirits.

Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre continues to be a hit with patients, as they have given the hospital the highest marks across all departments in the national Friends and Family Test – making it one of the best-performing hospitals in the country.
The 1,031 patients who completed the survey at the hospital throughout the month of January gave it a perfect score of 100 per cent for every single department covered by the Friends and Family Test.

Shepton Mallet Community Hospital's minor injury unit could be closed down and replaced with an "urgent treatment centre" that might not be situated in the town.
The NHS runs seven such units (known as MIUs) in Somerset, which provide health services for people who are unable to see a GP at short notice and don't need to go to A&E.

Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre has outperformed the national average, according to the latest results from the annual Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE).
PLACE assessments are undertaken by teams of NHS and private/independent health care providers, which must be made up of at least 50 per cent members of the public (known as patient assessors).
