The Gleaning Jazz Concert featuring East of Meon

St Peter and St Paul Church

The jazz concert is part of a series of events around the community arts project The Gleaning. The project addresses Somerset Art Works' theme 'Sanctuary', with its key strands of the Spiritual, Sustainable and Social.

The Glen Care Home, Evercreech

OUTSIDE IN - Art installations and free workshops at Shepton Mallet Prison

Shepton Mallet Prison

From October 1-9, six artists will be taking over C-Wing in Shepton Mallet Prison to create an exhibition of site responsive, immersive artworks. There are also free workshops including textile collage, meditation, and making a clay tealight holder and bell.

Bring along your tractor, and gifts of non-perishables for the Food Bank. Lots of activities and favourite harvest songs.And, come and see the Little Grey Fergie Tractor in the churchyard afterwards!
