There's plenty to keep you entertained in Shepton this weekend. Here a re a few of our top picks.

  1. Shepton Snowdrop Festival

The town's annual celebration of snowdrops starts this week with a whole host of events for all ages. Highlights this weekend include the Shepton Sculpture Trailwith eight giant sculptures to find and Downside Abbey garden tours to see the snowdrops growing in the grounds.

  1. Prize Bingo

Eyes down for the monthly prize bingo at The Horseshoe Inn.

  1. Giant flea market

This will be a bargain-hunter's paradise, with more than 250 stalls selling everything from retro furniture and vintage clothing to music, sweets, toys and arts and crafts.
