Vehicle Fire at Combe Street, Bruton

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a vehicle fire at the above location.
Fire control immediately mobilised one fire appliance from Castle Cary to attend this incident.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed one vehicle well alight, crews got to work extinguishing the fire using two breathing apparatus and compressed air foam system jets.
The crews extinguished the fire and the vehicle was hundred percent damaged by fire. The officer in charge believe this to be a deliberate ignition.
