It's fun. It's free. It's in Shepton Mallet. Save the date for this year's All the World's Our Playground Festival which takes place on Saturday 15th July in Shepton Mallet Market Place and the grounds of St Paul's Junior School run by Make the Sunshine.

The Festival, now in its fourth year, has played host to an amazing range of local and national theatre companies, dance acts and performers.

This year is no exception. Where you can enjoy everything from

· An amazing aerial circus show Pirate Taxi show in the town centre and the grounds of St Paul's to Shepton's, to Shepton's very own Chapel Dance Studio who will wow audiences with their Eurovision display;

· Stilt walkers to Scratchwork Theatre who bring The Grimm Sisters (a take on their gruesome brothers) to a travelling Time Machine comedy with wonderful Tor Theatre

· An acclaimed BLS incorporated re-telling of The Jungle Book from Jellyfish Theatre; to intergenerational Flamenco dance workshops to walkabout 'Binny' from Tall Tails Theatre company the day promises something for everyone.

This is the fourth year of the festival which is programmed by young people in Shepton Mallet. The festival acts have been chosen by Shepton Mallet's Arts Ambassadors – a programme run by Make the Sunshine in partnership with six Shepton Mallet Schools – St Paul's CofE VC Junior School, Bowlish Infant School, The Federation of Croscombe and Stoke St Michael, St Aldhelm's CofE VA Primary School and Oakhill Church School. It was a difficult selection process with children having a budget of just 10 starts to spend and a total of 43 stars to choose from!

The event is open to all the community and is free to attend (or by donations – suggested at just £2 per adult - which are very welcome to support this annual event and to make the fifth anniversary year next year even more special!)
