Happy Landings Animal Rescue in Pylle, near Shepton Mallet, has received two newly refurbished laptops from South West charity DonateIT. The organisation, which refurbishes and redistributes unwanted IT equipment, aims to save technology from landfill while supporting communities across Somerset, Dorset, and beyond.

Dawn Stubbs, General Manager at Happy Landings, expressed her gratitude:

"We are so grateful to DonateIT. Our small team of animal carers relies on technology to manage records, access resources, and liaise with potential adopters. These new laptops are already making a difference to the way we work."

The rescue centre contacted DonateIT on the advice of a volunteer, enquiring whether the charity could provide equipment to help its team with daily operations. The laptops have since been put to good use, streamlining the work of the dedicated staff.

Will Palmer of DonateIT said:

"We are delighted to support the wonderful team at Happy Landings. Thank you for all the incredible work you do for our four-legged friends."
