If you think you've seen Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs before, think again. This version at Binegar Village Hall is set in the 1950s, complete with a live band, The Binegarettes, playing rock 'n' roll hits. Bring along an item to be fixed while you enjoy tea, homemade cake, and a chat. If it can be repaired, it gets a new lease of life without adding to landfill. No booking required, just turn up.

Sunday 16 February

If your idea of a good day out involves vintage tractors, a hedge-laying competition, and a Land Rover meet, then MSAS Countryside Day at Mid-Somerset Showground, Shepton Mallet is the place to be. Tractors must be at least 25 years old to enter, and the entry fee includes a bacon sandwich. Non-tractor owners are, of course, welcome to come along and watch. More details can be found here.

For keen gardeners or those looking to start, Glastonbury Seedy Sunday at St. Benedicts's Church, Glastonbury is the place to swap, share, and learn about growing crops that actually suit the local climate.
