Shepton Mallet wedding fair brings 80 suppliers to showground

Couples planning their big day will be able to meet 80 wedding professionals under one roof when The Big Southwest Wedding Fair returns to the Bath & West Showground near Shepton Mallet next month.

The two-day event will take place on Saturday, 17 October and Sunday, 18 October 2026, with doors open from 10 am until 3 pm on both days.

Organisers are bringing together suppliers from across the South West, giving couples the chance to browse, try, hire and buy everything from outfits to finishing touches without spending the weekend criss-crossing the county.

Alongside the exhibitors, there will be catwalk shows twice each day featuring wedding dresses, suits and occasion wear. The shows will take place at 11 am and 1.30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be live entertainment and specially created inspiration areas, where suppliers will work together on reception layouts featuring centrepieces and other displays.

And for anyone reaching the point where choosing between table decorations starts to feel like a major life decision, there is an Entertainment Lounge with game stations and space to take a break from the planning.

The event is aimed at couples at all stages of organising their weddings, with the 80 professionals on hand to offer ideas and advice as well as showcase their services.

Free parking will be available at the showground throughout the weekend, while an on-site restaurant will be open for visitors looking for something to eat during the day.

The Big Southwest Wedding Fair runs from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, 17 October and Sunday, 18 October at the Bath & West Showground near Shepton Mallet.
