Watch out, here it comes – a brand-new music festival, WestWorldFest, is launching at the Bath & West Showground from 2nd to 4th May 2025, ready to spin you right round, baby right round.

The festival lineup boasts a mix of iconic and emerging acts, including The Beat, Pete Wylie and the Mighty Wah!, The Godfathers, Dr & The Medics, Nine Below Zero, and Rhoda Dakar. The experienced Master of Ceremonies "The Doctor" from Dr and The Medics will ensure smooth proceedings throughout the weekend. Get ready to "spirit in the sky" as The Doctor directs the show to the highest standards.

This three-day event promises to be a nostalgic trip back to the days of Ska, 80s & 90s rock, and classic alternative music, making it a must-attend for music lovers seeking a more relaxed festival vibe.

WestWorldFest offers a unique experience with three large camping zones, live-in vehicle areas, and glamping options, ensuring comfort and convenience for all attendees. Performances will be spread across three stages – Air, Cave, and Garden – each carefully scheduled to maximise enjoyment. Adding to the excitement, the festival will feature a Burlesque Theatre hosted by the glamorous Lucifera Swan.

After five years of planning, consultation, and research, WestWorldFest is ready to deliver an exhilarating array of experiences at one of the UK's premier event locations. With contingencies for wet weather, indoor arenas, and top-notch facilities, attendees can enjoy the festival regardless of the weather.

WestWorldFest will also feature a Gen X Showcase, highlighting both well-loved and up-and-coming artists. The festival's Battle of the Bands competition offers new talent a chance to perform on the Main Air Stage alongside the headliners, adding a touch of excitement and discovery to the event.

WestWorldFest is also dedicated to giving back to the community and has teamed up with three charity partners close to the hearts of the WestWorldFest team:

  • Homes4Heroes: Supports ex-service personnel by providing hostel-style accommodation and helping them secure permanent housing and counselling services. Run by Jimmy Jukes (MBE) and Michelle Thorpe.
  • Acton Homeless Concern: Sponsored by Nelly's Heroes, this charity provides food, shelter, and support to the homeless in Acton. Nelly has been volunteering here for eight years.
  • The Mendip School: A school for children with autism and communication needs, located next to the festival site. It focuses on supporting pupils and families to prepare them for adulthood.

Whether you're digging out your old Doc Martens or squeezing into those acid-wash jeans, it's time to party like it's 1989 – and with a blend of traditional and contemporary food traders, local ales, and plenty of activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Join the inaugural WestWorldFest at the Bath & West Showground from 2nd to 4th May 2025 for a weekend of unforgettable music and fun, tailored specifically for Gen Xers. S
