Get ready for a weekend of folk-fuelled fun as Priddy Folk Festival returns from 12th to 14th July.

Set across eight stages in Priddy, this festival proudly holds the title of the friendliest folk festival in the UK.

The lineup boasts a stellar range of internationally renowned bands, dance sides, and workshops, ensuring there's something for every age group. Weekend tickets are still up for grabs, giving you access to a packed programme featuring Breabach and Gnoss from Scotland, The Haar from Ireland, Sheelanagig, The Fugitives from Canada, the Sam Sweeney Band, Reg Meuross, Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, Suntou Susso, and many more. With comedy from David Eagle, storytelling by Martin Maudsley, ceilidhs, and the quirky Ford Dimensional 4D Folk Disco, you're in for a glorious weekend of entertainment. For more info on tickets and camping, head to www.priddyfolk.org.

But that's not all. There's plenty to do on Saturday and Sunday without spending a penny. Check out dance sides in the Market Field, join a workshop with Zimbabwe's Black Umfolosi, try your hand at maypole dancing, or sing shanties with your family. Dive into the world of folk arts with Libby Bove's Museum of Roadside Magic, along with dance demos, sessions, workshops, choirs, and scenic walks.

Catch an hour of fresh folk tunes written and performed by Blue School students under the 'Priddy Rising' banner, a project supported by festival funds. The Children, Dance, and Fringe Festival events are all free, so soak up the sun, sip on drinks from the festival bars, and munch on tasty treats from selected food traders.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Priddy Folk Festival channels its proceeds to local causes, making it a feel-good event in more ways than one. It's a blast and boasts a reputation as the friendliest festival around. For more details, visit www.priddyfolk.org.

Mark your calendars and join the folk festivities at Priddy Folk Festival – it's set to be an unmissable event in the heart of the Mendips.
