The Bath & West Showground near Shepton Mallet is preparing to welcome New Wine 2026 later this month.
The six-day Christian gathering will run from Tuesday, 28 July to Sunday, 2 August, bringing churches, families, young people and visitors from across the UK and beyond to the showground.
New Wine describes itself as a "spirit-empowered movement" with a focus on equipping local churches. Its annual summer festival includes worship, teaching, children's provision, youth programme Luminosity, young adults activities and accessible church spaces.
The main programme is due to begin at 7 pm on Tuesday, 28 July, after arrivals during the day. The festival programme is scheduled to continue until 11 pm on Sunday, 2 August, with onsite departures continuing into Monday, 3 August.
Organisers say up to 14,000 delegates from up to 1,000 churches are expected at the Somerset festival. The event includes onsite camping tickets, offsite tickets and weekend or day ticket options.
Tickets include adult camping, young adult, offsite adult, offsite young adult and team ticket as well as day ticket options for those not staying onsite.
The event is one of several major summer bookings for the Bath & West Showground, which hosts large-scale events throughout the year. For Shepton Mallet, the return of New Wine means another busy week for one of the area's biggest visitor venues.
The showground's summer calendar also includes Satellites 2026 from Thursday, 6 August to Monday, 10 August, followed later in the month by the Giant Flea Market and Truckfest South West.
