Somerstock is right around the corner, and tickets are flying off the shelves! If you haven't secured your spot yet, here are six reasons why you couldn't hang and secure them now.

1. Epic musical line-up featuring Shakatak

This year's headliner is none other than the legendary jazz-funk band Shakatak! They'll be lighting up the stage on Saturday, 13th July with their electrifying performance. Friday night features The Charlie Miller Band, Twisted Vinyl, and Florence & The Bare Souls, promising an unforgettable start to the festival. With over ten more live acts across two outdoor stages and a big top marquee, this is the music festival you can't afford to miss.

2. Delicious food and drink galore

Indulge in a feast of flavours from around the world! Somerstock boasts a wide range of food and drink options that will leave you spoilt for choice. From craft ales and cocktails to alcoslush and mouth-watering street food, there's something to tickle everyone's taste buds. Got a sweet tooth? Plenty of tasty treats await. If you have young children or specific dietary needs, bringing appropriate snacks is perfectly fine.

3. Family-friendly fun in the Kids' Zone

While you're enjoying the music, there's plenty to keep the kids entertained in the dedicated Kids' Zone. Activities include a silent disco, circus skills, face painting, children's crafts, a bouncy castle, stilt walking, and den building with The Den Man. Best of all, many activities are free and children under 12 get in for free, making it a perfect family outing.

4. Convenient on-site camping and parking

Immerse yourself fully in the festival experience with on-site camping for the nights of 12th and 13th July. With access to toilets and fresh water, you can pitch your tent or park your campervan and enjoy the festival without any hassle. Parking is available too, but remember to book in advance. In case of bad weather, parking might move offsite but will remain nearby.

5. Friday night tickets now available

Can't make it for the whole festival? No problem! A limited number of Friday night tickets have been released. Enjoy great music and the silent disco from 6pm to 11.30pm for just £10. It's a fantastic way to kickstart your weekend even if you can't attend the entire festival.

Somerstock isn't just about the music – it's a celebration of community and fun. With retail stalls, food stalls, bars, and a bustling atmosphere, you'll be in the heart of Somerton's vibrant festival scene.
