Extravaganza cancelled for 2026
By Laura Linham 28th Jan 2026
There will be no Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza in 2026, organisers have confirmed, as Glastonbury Festival takes a total fallow year.
The annual concert at Glastonbury Abbey is produced by the festival as a thank you to the town for supporting the main event held in nearby Pilton.
A spokesperson for Glastonbury Abbey said: "Unfortunately, there will be no Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza taking place this year. Glastonbury Festival, who produce the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza, have made the decision to take a total fallow year in 2026, meaning neither Glastonbury Festival itself nor the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza will take place."
Tickets remain on sale for Night At The Abbey, a separate live music and DJ event in the abbey grounds on Saturday, 12 September.
