The team at The Lion in West Pennard had the pleasure of welcoming two stars of one of the nation's most popular TV soaps this week.

Emmerdale's Chris Chittell, who plays Eric Pollard, his wife Lesley Dunlop, who plays Eric's on-screen partner Brenda Walker, and their family, enjoyed a weekend break at the village pub, restaurant and 12-bedroom hotel during their family visit to Somerset.

As well as appearing in Emmerdale and a host of films, Chris Chittell also appeared in the 1970s sci-fi TV series The Tomorrow People, while Lesley Dunlop is best known for her roles in TV series Where the Heart Is and May to December.
