A new Covid vaccination centre is opening in Shepton Mallet.

The Shepton Hub closed its vaccination site at SHAPE Mendip earlier this month, but on Friday it will be reopening at Haskins.

The first clinics will be taking place on Friday, April 29 from 1pm-3pm and on Saturday, April 30 from 10am – noon. At present, it is only available for booked appointments, with appointments available on the National Booking System.

Vaccinations are available for the following groups of people:

·     75+ Spring boosters

·     18yrs + 1st dose, 2nd dose & boosters

·     any patient over the age of 18yrs who is immunosuppressed & is 12 weeks since their last Covid vaccination.

Please note that you must be at least 28 days post a positive Covid infection to have a jab.
