There will be temporary traffic lights at the Commercial Road roundabout in Shepton Mallet for six weeks from next month for roadworks to take place.

Multi-way traffic lights will be in place from October 14 to November 22 inclusive at the roundabout where the A371 meets the A361 and the B3136.

The mini roundabout is going to be resurfaced from the Anglo Trading Estate to the former police station in one direction, and from Rose Court to the junction with Zion Hill in the other, so road markings will also need to be repainted.

During this time, drainage and lighting works are also going to take place.
