Shepton West result in the Mendip District Council elections 2019

The Conservatives have lost both of their seats in the Shepton West ward in the Mendip District Council elections 2019.

With a turnout of 34.5 per cent, Chris Inchley topped the votes with 633, followed by Independent Edric Wayland Hobbs with 580.

John William Parham previously held a seat for the Tories, but he received 427 votes, ahead of fellow Conservative Wayne Frapple with 389.

The Green Party's Paul Francis Crummay received 184 votes ahead of the Labour Party's Gareth Davies John with 164.
