Bookings have opened for traders wanting to take part in Collett Park Day 2026 in Shepton Mallet.

Shepton Mallet Town Council said the event will be held in Collett Park on Saturday, 13 June, bringing live music, food and entertainment into the town's main park while celebrating the charities, community groups and arts organisations that represent Shepton.

In a post announcing the launch, the council said: "Join us on the 13 June for an event that brings live music, food, and entertainment into our beautiful park to celebrate the wide range of charities, community and arts groups that represent the town."

The day is set to include live music on the bandstand, community performances, activities, community stalls, food trucks and a bar.

The council also said there will be something new for 2026, adding: "New this year, we are also inviting vintage car owners and suitcase traders to take part."

Collett Park Day is one of the best-known fixtures in Shepton Mallet's community calendar, bringing together local organisations, performers and traders in the town's Victorian park.

The booking page for traders is now live through Shepton Mallet Town Council.
