Happy Landings Animal Rescue has launched a new monthly lottery aimed at raising vital funds for abused, abandoned and neglected animals.

Announcing the scheme online, the rescue said supporters can sign up for £10 a month, with 54 chances to win every month and prizes of up to £25,000.

In a post launching the appeal, the charity said: "For just £10pm you will be helping the abused, abandoned and neglected animals find loving permanent homes."

It added: "There are 54 chances to win every month – up to £25,000."

Happy Landings also said every player will receive Gourmet Society membership, offering discounts on food and drink, as well as savings on takeaways, cinema trips, theatre, coffee shops and theme parks.

The rescue has urged supporters to sign up to help bring in extra income for its work caring for animals in need.
