Shepton residents urged to have their say at AGM
By Laura Linham 26th Jun 2026
Shepton residents who want a say on local issues are being encouraged to attend the next Local Community Network AGM.
The Shepton Local Community Network meeting will take place on Monday, 6 July, from 7 pm to 9 pm, at the Council Offices on Cannard's Grave Road.
Local Community Networks are designed to bring residents, councillors, community groups and local organisations together to discuss what matters in their area. For Shepton, that could mean anything from roads, transport and public spaces to services, community facilities and local priorities.
The AGM gives people a chance to hear what is being discussed at area level and to raise the issues they think should be on the agenda. It is also a way for residents to find out how local concerns are fed back through Somerset Council's area-based network.
The meeting is listed for the Council Offices, Cannard's Grave Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BT.
Somerset Council is organising the meeting, with Nataliya Wills listed as the link officer. Anyone who wants more information can contact the Shepton Local Community Network by emailing [email protected].
The meeting is one of several Local Community Network AGMs taking place across Somerset in July. Residents who have something to raise, or who simply want to better understand what is happening locally, are being encouraged to go along.
