Shepton Mallet Town Council has launched its latest community grants round and is now inviting applications from local charities, clubs and voluntary groups.

The scheme, which opened this week, offers funding to help organisations deliver projects and services that benefit residents across the town. The council has not confirmed the total funding pot or typical award size.

A spokesperson said: "Our Grants Round opens today and you have until the 31st October to apply. We recognise the importance of community groups and organisations in Shepton Mallet and have allocated funds to help support them throughout the year."

Applications must be submitted by Thursday, 31 October 2025 via the council's Community Grants page.
