Shepton Mallet's Bath an West Showground is set to come alive on Saturday, 13th April 2024, with a charity concert that promises an evening of exceptional music and entertainment, all in support of a good cause.

The event features headline performances from British rapper Professor Green, alongside Saxobeat and the That Brit Pop Band.

The concert, opening its doors at 18:30, is not just an opportunity to enjoy a night of live music but also a chance to contribute to Rushton Dog Rescue. With ticket prices starting at £55 per person, all proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting the charity's commendable work in rescuing and caring for animals in need.

Rushton Dog Rescue, founded by Cindi in memory of her partner Timothy Rushton, who dreamt of starting a dog rescue centre in Spain, has been a beacon of hope for animals for over 17 years. Under the stewardship of Cindi and her daughter Zoe, the charity has expanded its reach, saving thousands of dogs, along with horses, ducks, cats, and other small or wild animals. Their unwavering commitment to animal welfare is the driving force behind this event, aiming to raise both awareness and funds to continue their vital work.

Professor Green, also known as Stephen Manderson, is not only celebrated for his musical achievements but also for his dedication to social causes. Alongside launching successful ventures such as Aguulp and GizNGreens during the lockdown, he has been an active patron of the anti-suicide charity CALM, showcasing his multifaceted contributions to both the music industry and societal well-being.

Ticket options for the charity concert include general admission, VIP standing with exclusive benefits like drink vouchers and private bar access, and Super VIP tables for groups, complete with grazing platters and additional perks. Located at the Showering Pavilion at the Bath & West Showground, attendees are advised to enter through the Blue Entrance off the A371 and park in the Yellow carpark.

This event not only offers a chance to see Professor Green and other renowned artists perform live but also supports a heartfelt cause, making it a must-attend for music lovers and animal advocates alike.
