Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing November 11

There will be temporary traffic lights on the roundabout by the Cenotaph in Shepton Mallet this week for patching work.

The multi-way lights will be in operation at the roundabout where the A371 meets the High Street and Park Road on Tuesday and Wednesday November 12 and 13, though they will be removed in time for the carnival procession.

Other roadworks in Shepton Mallet this week include:

From Tuesday until Thursday November 14, BT will be carrying out work in Queen's Road.

On Friday November 14, Wales and West Utilities will start two months of gas main replacement work in Whitstone Rise, close to the junction with the A37.

On Monday November 11, Bristol Water's work to cut off an old supply in Eastfield should be completed.

The work to replace streetlights in Naisholt Road should be finished on Tuesday.

The resurfacing, lighting and drainage works at the Commercial Road roundabout continues, though the area will be cleared for carnival night.
