Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing December 9

Temporary traffic lights will return to the Commercial Road Roundabout in Shepton Mallet this week, just a few weeks after a previous set were removed.

Resurfacing work finished at the roundabout just a handful of weeks ago, but from Friday December 13 to December 17 multi-way lights will return there.

These lights will be in place to enable Bristol Water to replace a frame and cover.

Bristol Water will also have two other sets of temporary traffic lights in Waterloo Road this week.

From Monday December 9 to Wednesday December 11, it will have the lights at the bottom of Waterloo Road for works.

Then from Thursday December 12 to December 16, the temporary traffic lights will move to the top of Waterloo Road while a water leak is repaired.

Other roadworks in Shepton Mallet this week include:

From Monday to Wednesday, Bristol Water will be installing a new connection in Queen's Road.

On Monday, Bristol Water's work to repair a leak on a fire hydrant in Manship Green should be completed.

Finally, the work by Wales and West Utilities in Compton Road should be finished by Tuesday December 10.
