Shepton Mallet Town Council is offering help to local organisations looking to secure funding for their projects.

The council has a bid‑writing support service aimed at not‑for‑profit groups hoping to apply for grants and other funding.

The initiative is designed to help organisations put together strong applications and secure the money needed to bring their ideas to life.

A spokesperson for the council said the service was about supporting those with a positive vision for the town. "We want to help local groups make the best possible case for funding," they said. "It can be a daunting process, and we're here to guide people through it."

The offer is open to charities, voluntary groups and other not‑for‑profit organisations based in and around Shepton Mallet. The council is inviting anyone interested to get in touch.
