Shepton Mallet residents are being warned to expect disruption as carnival carts begin arriving on Whitstone Road from 9pm tomorrow (Tuesday, 11 November.)

A temporary one-way system will be in place from the Charlton traffic lights heading southbound.

Stewards will be on hand to help residents access homes in Tadley Acres, Whitstone Road and Whitstone Rise while the carts line up ahead of the main event.

Organisers have issued an access map to help residents navigate the changes. The route will remain in place until around midnight.

Locals are urged to plan ahead and share the update to help spread the word.
