In a community-driven effort to make Shepton Mallet Carnival a resounding success, organisers are actively seeking volunteers to join this year's event

With the carnival quickly approaching, additional hands are needed to ensure the event runs smoothly and continues to be a Shepton's social calendar highlight.

Volunteer roles span a variety of responsibilities, from manning trade stands to serving as marshals or donation collectors on the night. The carnival committee is also in search of a new secretary to assist with organisational duties.

The event's success relies heavily on the collective effort of local residents, and this is an opportunity for individuals to engage with their neighbours, contribute to a beloved tradition, and enjoy the sense of camaraderie that comes with being part of a community event.

Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to contact the organisers via email at [email protected] for further details. No previous experience is necessary, and all enthusiastic supporters of Shepton's town carnival are welcome to contribute.

Whether it's helping with trade stands or collecting donations, every volunteer plays a crucial role in making the Shepton Mallet Carnival a memorable occasion.
