The team at Shepton Mallet medical supplies firm, Reflex Medical, has been working hard to ensure that vital medical supplies reach Ukraine.

Not only are they donating much-needed medical supplies, and offering discounts, but they are also collecting donations of blankets and first aid supplies to be sent to help those in need. They are also offering discounts for anyone wanting to buy items to donate.

Their efforts have been helped by other local businesses Gilcombe Farm who lent tables so that more people could pack up individual first aid kits and hauliers KRL who have agreed to collect and deliver shipments of emergency medical supplies for free.

Managing Director of Reflex Medical, Sam Franklin, said: "It's safe to say we're rather busy over at Reflex Medical this week. We're heartbroken by what's happening in Ukraine, but relieved that we're able to help get essential medical equipment to those who need it! We're doing our best to keep spirits high whilst we're working against the clock.

"We may need volunteers to help pack small kits too." Anyone who may be able to help can email [email protected], [email protected] or call 0800 8620344.
