Shepton Mallet area roadworks for week commencing June 1

There are scheduled to be temporary traffic lights on the A361 near Shepton Mallet this week.

The lights are due to be in place on the A361 through East Compton on Thursday (June 4).

They are being used to enable Western Power Distribution to undertake overhead reconductoring works.

Other roadworks in the Shepton Mallet area this week include:

A road closure of Ridge Lane is scheduled to last for a day for surface dressing works and it could happen on any day this week.

On Tuesday (June 2) and Wednesday (June 3) Bristol Water is planning works in Neat Lane heading towards Pilton.

Finally, from Wednesday to June 8, Wales and West Utilities are planning to lay a new service in Leg Square.
