Congratulations to Sexey's School Year 11 who are celebrating some excellent GCSE results despite two years of a pandemic with schools closing and lessons switching to virtual learning. 85% of all grades at Sexey's School were 9-4 compared to the national figure of 73.2%.
Headteacher Helen Cullen said: "I am so proud of the resilience this group of students have shown. They have worked hard and deserve the grades they are collecting today. This year we are celebrating the best exam results we have seen since I joined the school in 2018 and I am delighted to see the improvements within the school being demonstrated through these excellent results for our students. The GCSE grades will set them in good stead for the next stage in their educational journey and I am delighted that so many have chosen to remain at Sexey's and study their A levels with us."

These students have made fantastic progress due to their hard work and engagement in learning.
Headteacher Helen Cullen thanked the staff for their hard work, inspirational teaching and exceptional pastoral support that has provided the mechanism for these students to gain these excellent results.
