Raiders have stolen £2 million worth of Mulberry bags from the designer's depot in Shepton.
The burglary saw thieves cut a hole in the side of the storage room and use a getaway truck to transport over 2,000 bags.
The bags, popular among celebrities such as the Princess of Wales, were taken during a night-time raid at the end of last month.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said officers were called to the site at around 7.30am on May 26 following a report of a break-in overnight.
"Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are working with the victim to establish what items have been stolen," the spokesperson added.
Mulberry bags, known for their high-end status, are owned by numerous celebrities including Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller, Blake Lively, and Kate Moss. The iconic Mulberry Bayswater bag, which helped catapult the brand to fame, costs upwards of £1,200.
A spokesperson for Mulberry confirmed the incident, stating: "We can confirm that the police were alerted to a break-in at our Shepton Mallet site on Sunday, 26th May. No colleagues were on site at the time of the incident and there has been no impact to operations. We are supporting the police with their investigations and cannot comment further on the matter."
Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to contact the police.
