It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and a pop-up Christmas extravaganza will be opening its doors in Shepton Mallet tomorrow (Friday, December 2nd) at Kilver Court.

The extravaganza will take place at Kilver Court and it's all in a good cause - supporting Promiseworks - a charity that offers mentoring services to disadvantaged children and young adults across the county.

This year's pop-up events will take place on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 between 10am and 5pm, with free entry.

The Pop-Up Christmas event will offer a wide selection of food, fashion, beauty, jewellery and much more.

PROMISEworks General manager, Ali Hart said "We are so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to reach out to so many of you and ask for your support at the Pop-Up Christmas at Kilver Court. Our mentors make an enormous difference to the child or young person they are matched with, simply by being a source of calm and constant support. Whether your mentoring time involves walking a dog, playing a sport, undertaking a craft activity or just chatting over a drink and a snack, the trusted friendship that develops helps to build self-esteem, resilience and emotional wellbeing."

Organisers have also announced the Kilver Court Gardens will be open from 10am, with last entry at 2pm, for the duration of the Pop-Up Christmas event with special entry prices of £5.50 per adult and £3.50 for Children aged seven years and older. Entry is free for children under the age of seven.
