The police are asking for the public's assistance in providing any information that could help with enquiries into several burglary-related incidents in Batcombe last month.

Three reports of burglaries or attempted burglaries were received, all occurring in the early hours of Wednesday, 19 June.

CCTV footage has captured two individuals who the police hope to identify and speak to in connection with these incidents. The individuals are described as male and wearing dark clothing.

In response to the reports, the neighbourhood team has increased patrols in the area to enhance security and prevent further incidents.

To help protect your property, the police advise residents to ensure doors and windows are locked when not at home, install a burglar alarm, and keep keys in a secure place. More crime prevention advice can be found on the Avon and Somerset Police website at www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/crime-prevention-advice.

Witnesses, or anyone who recognises the two individuals captured on CCTV, are urged to contact the police online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 5224158341.
