Planning application for a concrete factory in Wanstrow - and other planning applications from in and around Shepton Mallet

A concrete factory could be built at Trinidad Works, Haygrove Lane, Wanstrow. The site is currently used for HGV storage, and also has areas of previously developed land, unproductive scrubland and woodland.

The planning application is asking for permission to build a main factory building, as well as a laydown area, ancillary buildings and parking space for 220 cars.

The new factory could also create around 300 jobs.

2022/0598/APP | Woodlands Farmhouse, Brewery Lane, Shepton Mallet

The applicant is asking for details of the walling and roofing materials for a single storey extension – which has already been granted permission - to be approved. 2022/0522/APP | Plot West Of The Old Stables, Hurlingpot Farm, Kings Road, Doulting

The applicant wants planning officers to confirm that conditions on a previous consent, relating to materials and drainage, have been met,

2022/0536/TPO | TPO M96 T1 | Chez Nous Weston Town Evercreech

The applicant wants to remove limbs from sycamore trees. 2022/0316/HSE | Beech Croft House, 5A Park Road, Shepton Mallet

Permission is being sought to put up a fence and gate, almost 2 meters high, around the edge of the driveway.
