Following notification from the NHS app, all staff at Fusion Lifestyle's Shepton Mallet Lido in Shaftsgate Avenue are having to self-isolate for a period of time, meaning that the centre will be closed with immediate effect, with plans to re-open on 2nd August.
Any members who have already got bookings at the lido will receive a credit on their account, to be used when the centre re-opens. And for members who would like to maintain their fitness routines whilst Shepton Mallet is closed, there are several other Fusion centres in the area, including Frome Leisure Centre, Wells Leisure Centre and Strode Pool and Fitness.
Bookings for all centres can be made up to seven days in advance, via download of the Fusion Lifestyle app or visit www.fusion-lifestyle.com to find your local centre or register and use the booking facility.
Anthony Cawley, Director of Operations at Fusion said: "We are really sorry that we've had to close our centre at Shepton Mallet Lido, but the health and wellbeing of our staff and our customers are what matters most to us. We hope very much that we'll be able to open again on 2nd August and look forward to welcoming everyone back."
