Light up Shepton Mallet! Enter the Christmas Card Competition for a chance to switch on the festive lights!

Shepton Mallet Town Council has launched an exciting Christmas Card Competition with a special festive prize for the winner.

The competition is open to all, offering participants the chance to have their design featured as the town's official Christmas card.

The winning designer will also be given the honour of turning on the town's Christmas tree lights at the annual switch-on event, set to take place on Friday, 22nd November between 5pm and 8pm.

Entries must be submitted by Friday, 22nd November 2024, and can be drawn using a provided template or created from scratch. Submissions should be sent to:

This is a fantastic opportunity for local residents to get involved in the holiday celebrations and showcase their creativity. The council encourages everyone to join in the festive fun, with the lights switch-on event sure to be a highlight of the season.
