Kilver Court Gardens will once again be open to the public.

The stunning gardens, which have featured on BBC's Gardener's World, closed just over a year ago when the Kilver Court estate was sold by the Saul family after 25 years of ownership.

It was bought by the Showering family, the founders of Brothers Drinks, and a statement at the time said that they planned transform Kilver Court "into an interactive culture destination for locals and tourists."

But since then, all but three of the shops have been closed, and the gardens have only been accessible to pre-booked groups.

Last month, Mendip District Council approved plans to change doors and windows, and remove a staircase, so that instead of the department-shop style store that operated before, there can be individual retail units.

Now it has been announced that from tomorrow (Wednesday, October 12), Kilver Court Gardens are open to visitors every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-3pm. Advance Booking is required. Last entry 2pm.
