Here at Lyons Personnel we are looking for a Night Trunk Driver for our client in Shepton Mallet, with the hours of Monday to Friday, 6pm to 5am.

For this role you will be required to do a nightly trunk run to the Midlands and back pulling a double deck trailer. There will be no manual handling involved with this role.

Previous experience in working with double deck trailers is advantageous but not essential.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points with no DRs or DDs, full CPC and digi tacho.

This role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Lyons Personnel is operating as an employment business.

Are you a time-served Electrically bias, Maintenance Engineer from an FMCG/Packaging/Food background looking to join a well-established manufacturer offering specialist training?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing FMCG company that is renowned for the great level of service it provides for all its clients and its low turnover of staff.

This is what you'll be doing in the role of Electrical Maintenance Technician working on a days 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for covering both proactive and reactive maintenance routines on both production and facilities equipment in a timely manner adhering to all health and safety requirements.

• Provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
• Equipment testing, fault finding and repair.
• PLC fault finding and repairs.
• To ensure maximum machine available time at least cost, through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Together with other plant engineers and team leaders, actively strive to ensure that your time is orientated towards achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work.
• Ensure compliance and work in a safe manner with H&S in mind at all times.
• Play an active role in the planning, controlling and over-seeing his day to day routines and inspections.
• Ensure that a Total Quality Approach is implemented across the site.

The experience you'll bring to the team:

• You will be time-served with an electrical qualification.
• Reactive and PPM experience.
• Have a good knowledge of PLC fault finding through I/Os.
• Worked as a Multiskilled Technician for a minimum of two years.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Job specifics:

Permanent, full-time. Salary £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.

School Transport Bus Driver PCV and Car Drivers - Shepton Mallet

School Transport Bus Driver PCV and Car Drivers are required by a well-established private hire service provider on a part-time basis, in Shepton Mallet.

The role and responsibilities:

• Collecting students from pickup points and transporting them to and from school.
• Transporting students and faculty to activities during school hours.
• Informing school authorities of any traffic hazards and other issues delaying arrival or departure times.
• Checking buses have enough fuel for journeys.
• Inspecting buses to ensure that the components are in good working condition and reporting potential problems to the supervisor.
• Keeping bus neat and tidy.
