Hunt for tortoise's owner

Local News by Emma Dance 16th Sep 2022

A lost tortoise is hoping to soon be reunited with her owners.

The tortoise was found three weeks ago by the Pecking Mill in Evercreech and has been in the care of Repxotics in Shepton ever since, swhilst the vets worked on trying to find her owner. However, no-one has come forward as yet.

A post of the Repxotic Facebook page says: "She's a wonderful tortoise and seems like she's been very well cared for, because of this we think she must be missed. As we believe she may be a predominantly outdoor tortoise, it's possible her owners haven't picked up that she's missing!"

If you believe it might be your tortoise, please contact Repxotics on 01749 937340. Proof of ownership will be required from anyone trying to claim her.
