A new series of theatre workshops for children in Shepton Mallet begins this month

Young people in Shepton Mallet can learn how to make their own plays with friends and work alongside professional theatre makers from across Somerset with Somerset Youth Theatre.
Starting on September 22, Somerset Youth Theatre is running weekly sessions for children aged between 6 and 18 years old.
A spokesman said: "We provide safe spaces for young people to create, explore and find their voice through theatre and the arts. We do this because young people's voices matter! We believe in fun. We believe in community. We work together to make a difference."
