A food forest is being planted at Wilfswood in Evercreech. And member sof the community are being asked to lend a hand.

Wilfswood is the latest site for The Food Forest Project – a community food initiative which uses pockets of disused land to produce, free, fresh, organic food for the local community, and at the same time encourage people to reconnect with nature.

On November 26, The Food Forest Project will be working with the Wilfswood team to plant the first three layers of a two acre food forest.

There are lots of trees, shrubs and bushes to plant, and they are hoping that people will come along to help out.

There will be refreshments, as well as activities for children.

The planting will take place at Wilfswood, Leighton Lane, Evercreech, BA4 6OP between 10am and 3pm.
