Somerset Skills and Learning (SS&L) have announced that their Employer of the Month winner for February is Grove House Surgery in Shepton Mallet.

Grove House Surgery has been chosen for the award because of their support of SS&L's apprenticeship programme.

They have now permanently employed Rhona, one of their previous apprentices, and have recently recruited Charlie as their new business admin apprentice.

A spokesperson for SS&L) said: "This just goes to show how apprenticeships can lead to a new career and long-term positive outcomes for both apprentices and businesses.

"If you think an apprenticeship could be for you, we have many vacancies. Or if you're an employer, thinking about tapping into the talent in Somerset with an apprentice or keen to offer your staff training and development, give us a call on 0330 332 7997 to discuss how we can help you."
