Attention, all you home improvers, renovators, and dream home builders!

Mark your calendars for November 18-19 as the Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet is set to host the South West Homebuilding & Renovating Show. It's the perfect weekend to gather some innovative ideas and top-notch expertise for your home projects.

Tickets for this two-day extravaganza cost £8 and are available for purchase on the Somerset Homebuilding Show website.

The show promises a wide range of exhibitors, seminars, and interactive zones, tailored to answer every query a modern homeowner might have.

With over 140 exhibitors scheduled, you'll find stalls dedicated to architecture, building materials, lighting, doors and windows, gardens, and so much more.

Whether you're just starting your journey or are stuck in a renovation rut, experts will be on-site in the Masterclass and Seminar Theatres, presenting topics from a beginner's guide to building your own home to the essential steps for designing a sustainable abode.

The cost of living crisis is affecting us all, especially when it comes to rising energy bills. Visitors to the 'Ask the Expert Zone' will be able to engage in one-to-one sessions with specialists who can address individual concerns. Eco expert David Hilton will also be there to demystify how heat pumps work and provide practical advice on reducing energy costs and carbon footprint.

The on-site Advice Centre offers further chances to book free personal consultations with industry professionals. Among those offering their wisdom are Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine specialists Michael Holmes, Allan Corfield, and Sally Tagg, along with quantity surveyor Tim Phillips, and finance expert Tim McSherry. Whether you need advice on planning permissions, choosing materials, or securing finances for your project, the experts have got you covered.

So why should you attend? Apart from the wealth of knowledge on offer, the event is an excellent networking opportunity to meet industry experts and like-minded individuals. You might come with questions but leave with a detailed plan and the contacts to help make your dream home a reality.

Don't miss out on this unique chance to gather all the resources you need for your next home project.
