Come along to Shepton Mallet on Sunday (August 8) and be inspired as the town hosts a tasteful food event.

The Little eat:Festival is due to take place in the newly-refurbished Market Place, from 10am to 4pm.

Packed with locally-produced food and drink, residents will find more than 20 traders selling goods, plus there's street entertainment and music too.

Mendip District Council commissioned the event using monies from the European Regional Development Fund to help bring back footfall to the district's towns following the Covid crisis.

Working with the founders of the multi award-winning Eat:Festivals, Bev and Sarah Milner Simonds, the fresh food events have showcased in Street and Glastonbury already this summer.

The final Little eat:Festival in this series will take place on Wells Cathedral Green, on Sunday September 5.
