As Lakeside Pool prepares to open its doors, excitement is building in Evercreech.

The upcoming swimming facility, offering a panoramic view of a nearby lake, is currently under construction and the early stages of development promise a unique addition to the community's amenities.

The 12m x 6m swimming pool, set to have a uniform depth of 1.2m and a regulated temperature of 32 degrees, is designed to combine natural beauty and modern convenience.

The concept plans reveal a large viewing room that overlooks both the pool and the tranquil lake beyond.

For the comfort of future users, eleven changing rooms are being incorporated into the design. Five of these rooms will cater to parents and children, featuring baby changing facilities, while the remaining six will offer spacious areas for individuals or groups.

The focus on accessibility is evident in the inclusion of steps and a handrail for easy entry and exit from the pool. Additionally, a well-lit car park is part of the construction plan, ensuring convenience for visitors arriving at any time of the day.

Upon completion, the Lakeside Pool plans to accept bookings for private hire and children's pool parties. Further information on these services and the ongoing construction progress can be found on the official website at www.thelakesidepool.co.uk.

As the first signs of the Lakeside Pool become visible, this sneak peek of the upcoming facility signals a new and exciting chapter for recreational activities in Evercreech.
