With just two weeks to go until Half-Term, parents are making plans to keep their children amused – and what better way than a family day out to the Royal Bath & West Show (30th May-1st June)?

Children of every age, from pre-school to sixth form, will find something to keep their attention away from phones and tablets.

For the inquisitive, head to the 'Discover the Future' STEM zone, full of activities and displays to inspire tomorrow's scientists and engineers. Creative types can produce their own wooden wand at the Amerton Art Studio in the Woodland and Countryside Arena, using traditional child-safe techniques, or why not take a woodland walk (suitable for little legs too), with an interactive map and worksheet to complete. Green-fingered children can also visit the Horticulture Tent, where Lara from the 'Skool Beanz' children's gardening club will be available to offer advice and tips on growing your own fruit and vegetables at home.

The Family Trail is back again, so throughout your day get everyone involved with completing it around the Show and return to the Hive trade stand, to be in with a chance of winning a pair of Samsung Headphones.

The main ring is the place to go for the Pony Club Games and the Jamie Squibb Freestyle motorbike displays, whilst the Sports Village and Lakeside Farm will have plenty of activities for the whole family to get involved in. There will also be a vintage funfair, and of course a trip around the showground on the Bath & West train to enjoy at any age!

With all this and much more besides, the Royal Bath & West Show is a great value family day out. The advanced ticket rate ends at Midnight on 16th May, with visitors now able to purchase additional items to make their day even more special! These include VIP upgrades, VIP Parking, exclusive merchandise, and bus tickets. To take advantage of this, visit www.bathandwest.com and select 'Extras & Add-Ons' after purchasing your tickets.
